Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka is an American British sitarist and musician. She was among the youngest and first female to win an award from the British House of Commons Shield she's had nine Grammy Awards nominations and was the first artist of Indian origin to play live and to be a presenter for the ceremony. Anoushka Shankar is a rising young star of the Indian sitar. She's the daughter of Ravi Shankar and a former student. She spent her childhood bouncing between London in the UK to New Delhi.
